Moon And Stars Were Made By Our Creator

It was a big and bright moon tonight, that went from huge and hiding behind clouds to big and bright in the clear, black, night sky.

Whenever I see the moon at night I think of God; how big and powerful God is, the Father God who created all this, the universe and beyond.

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.   He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. – Isaiah 40:28

How can one not think of our Creator when they look up at the sky, see the night stars or look out over a great lake or ocean and not wonder at the greatness of it all?

There is a song that refers to “the God of angel armies”, and I can’t help but wonder at what it would look like to see Jesus in the clouds with thousands of His angels coming in the clouds with Him?

Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. – Nehemiah 9:6

I love seeing God in these wonderous creations that make me stop and wonder at the greatness of it.  These creations make me feel the mighty, overpowering creation of Our Heavenly Father who created mankind.  It is comforting to know that this Creator, our Heavenly Father, watches over us and His Son Jesus Christ saves and knows us. God knows how many hairs are upon our heads and cares about us.  I imagine a loving father watching over us in a huge, expansive sky.  Who wouldn’t want a Father as powerful as this who is on our side?

  1. I think about this all the time. For me, it’s sunsets. I see God’s glory and majesty every time I see a sunset and it is a daily reminder that He is way bigger than all my little problems and mistakes. I’m a Christian blogger if you’re interested in reading some of my posts!!
