Saving money is always wise; we can’t do too much in this area, I believe.
I have been saving for a trade-in on my van. A smaller, economical car and a newer model would be best for my needs right now. I have saved and have used a bit for a move I made recently.
I’ve moved into a beautiful home, where I had problems with a former living situation but I’ll leave that to God to handle. The owner was really weird and she knows I’m talking about her since she reads my blog(s), so I know I have the right to say what I want especially on my own blog.
She said stuff that sounds outrageous, which I shared with people at work who knew her. No one wants anything to do with her: she’s a mad alcoholic beer drinker, who I won’t ever want to deal with ever again since she has lost her mind and has turned hostile. We know who’s in charge: the Lord Jesus Christ, and even though she did things in a greatly illegal manner, I give it to God to handle, and she will answer to the Lord Jesus Christ one day.
He will deal with this issue on Judgement day, since I highly doubt she is a real Christian who reads the bible, is in serious prayer every day, instead of drinking what seems to be a few six-packs every day.
More importantly, this morning I was emailing a friend to congratulate her on her savings account, and so I told her that she gains wealth by saving little amounts at a time as opposed to creating debt by spending great amounts she might have received like a flash in the pan.
I was reading the bible yesterday and read the verse about saving money a little at a time and found this verse since saving money is a favorite past-time of mine:
Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. – Proverbs 13:11
As many probably feel about themselves and their saving ability; I wish I had known to save money from childhood. I could have been rich now had I done so.
