ChristianConnect by text, online group or conference call?

wp-image-1450764750If you’re like me, you know that world events have been speeding up and things are happening very fast according to bible prophecy.  Because of this and the fact that many people have not come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, it may be a good time for all to strengthen our support of and fellowship with each other.

Another reason is that there are fewer churches out there that are not sliding down the slippery slope of false teaching already.  They seem to be following the business model of Rick Warren who has made a business off of the church.  His church is doing business in growing mega churches and not in spreading the gospel message to those who are seeking who God is.  See my blog post about Rick Warren’s church building here.

Below I have copied a page from my Christianhope.net site.  Would you, dear sisters and brothers, please leave me your comments, if you would, and if you would care to, about how you would prefer to connect with other Christians?  Some choices are by cell: WhatsApp seems to be universally used on all phones everywhere, not just the United States.

Or, would you rather meet in an online group such as creating one on groupbox or, I believe there is a way to start a group on SocialCross?  Another way is to set up a conference call, possibly once or twice a week using WhatsApp or an online app that users could call in and not have to be logged into their computers, too.

Comments on this blog are moderated because I am getting a lot of spam comments so if you are able to leave a comment at the end of this post, or want to reach me directly in my email by using the Prayer Request page, it would help me know what people are thinking and feeling about connecting.

I apologize that it has taken me this long to get around to communicating more about the ChristianConnect idea but I’ve been looking for a job after getting my wallet stolen at my last job, and also because I’m trying to get well from a nasty case of bronchitis.

Text messaging might be a good way to keep in touch with one another. After spending some time looking at this “group text” idea, so far it seems that using WhatsApp would be the best way to create a group text.

The reason is that not all cell phones have the ability to set up a group list to text and reply to. Some apps only cover the U.S. WhatsApp is free to use from my experience and anyone can be included in a group IM list from anywhere around the world.

I also still want to create a conference call or online group so that we can work to create a supportive, caring community in the face of these last times where the world seems to be getting worse by the day! A schedule can be created for conference calls that can be posted here. Tell your friends who believe in Jesus Christ so we can strengthen our walk with Him!

It is my feeling that new believers will get left behind if we don’t help them keep strong in the Lord! I felt I needed help as a new Christian; I didn’t know enough about the bible or who God was! I was not versed in the bible, nor raised to learn about God’s Word – it was forbidden, in fact. It will be good to have more of us around to help the new Christians be cared for spiritually, as well as those of us who are not new to the Lord gain strength.

Feel free to send me a message about ways you’d like to connect with other Christians and let’s start a community to support one another. May God bless you and keep you, always!

  1. I really like this idea. I myself like the email connection because I can’t always answer the phone since I sleep days usually because of work and I hope that will change. Isn’t Socialcross a part of the Facebook giant or is it a separate entity from Zuckerberg’s politically correct watchdog? Since Christians will and have been persecuted we should be careful.

    1. Hi Rick, Thank you for your comments! Thank you for your input on preferring email as a way to connect due to your schedule.
That’s great input since I’m sure you’re not alone. Do you have any preference on what type of email account? Gmail, Yahoo, etc. …
You are also right, SocialCross is not part of Facebook, thankfully, although I considered a Facebook group – for about 2 seconds only! LOL! SocialCross is run and founded by pastors. They are on YouTube but I forget what their channel is called on YouTube. I’m sorry for the delay in responding; besides starting a new job for a few weeks I have been sick with bronchitis, doing lots of coughing.
