We Know The Call Of God

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

²⁸ And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. – John 10:27-28

During Pastor John MacArthur’s sermon last Sunday he taught us that the Lord Jesus Christ predestined His children.  We are called by him with his “Divine Call”.  It is God’s  Irresistible Call Of Grace that we respond to and are drawn to him by.  His call is miraculous to the beloved Elect.  

He calls us because we are Loved by him, in a way that is Holy and far above the love we know as humans.  He chose us from before he created the foundation of the earth,  and our names will remain written in his Book of Life, and we will not be cast into the fiery lake.  He has chosen us and we are meant to be His children.  We are the called, the “Elect” and we are Saved by our Love of the Truth of His Word, the Gospels, and believing that Jesus Christ was God who walked the earth and died for us, and rose again to be seen again walking on the earth in human form and now is seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.  He is Our Heavenly Father.

The time nears for our Father to send his Son to meet us in the air; we will be transformed suddenly and in the twinkling of an eye.  We are looking for our Blessed Hope, Jesus Christ and we are not looking to see who the AntiChrist is.  We should already be in heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ.

With the way the world is changing and so rapidly, look up.  Our time is nigh, as the bible says.  His children wait expectedly knowing our Savior, through the kindness of grace, will come and rescue out of the world someday.  I hope it is soon. 

What an exciting prospect to know that I am among the chosen children of the Lord Jesus Christ. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8).  He is Our One True God, Our Lord and Savior.
