While writing my last post about how Jesus wasn’t a socialist, I recalled that they had a mission and a cause, you might say, unlike Bernie’s socialism.
Bernie’s socialism is meant for all Americans to “share all they had”, yet the bible refers to the early church as being needful of support – so they shared all they had so no one went without.
Those times were different than today’s times, here in America. We are not starting the early Christian church and no longer living in those times.
Bernie doesn’t even know who Peter the Apostle is; he is waiting for the Messiah after all.
