Providing For Your Needs: Jesus Christ

For those of you who are in job-search mode, you may have felt the ups and downs of a roller-coaster ride with many stalled-out days and weeks waiting for interviews.

In the past few days I’ve been hired by two employers making my job count three: I have three employers, and recently quit an independent contractor job which makes my having had four employers total, in less than two weeks.

Job dissatisfaction is common as many on LinkedIn either want a new job or are in the job market.  LinkedIn is where I keep in contact with others like me who have been unemployed or underemployed and it sure makes for an unstable lifestyle.

But thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ, I have work that will carry me for the next four months through February next year, enough income to keep the bills and rent paid.

We must put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ – He knows the way for our lives.

As one of Dr. Charles Stanley’s life principles to live by states:

God assumes full responsibility for our needs when we obey him.

If we check the bible on this we find some scripture about this.  Here are samples I have found:

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. – Hebrews 11:6

The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked. – Proverbs 10:3

He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? – Romans 8:32

I hope for those of you who are currently in the job hunt; don’t give up and ask Jesus Christ for the way.  Rely on him and he will provide your needs.
