Boarded Up Stores In Seattle Still

I work in Seattle on Saturdays but not always in the same area.  Today I took the bus to Seattle and noticed buildings still boarded up and many stores were closed downtown.

At the bottom of this blog post is a video I took while riding the bus from Seattle to Bellevue and I noticed tents lining some of the sidewalks that have not been there before.  I think they are some of the protesters who have been displaced from CHOP.

I noticed several bicyclists riding around downtown near 5th & Pine Streets because there was far less traffic which kept the streets clear, and less pedestrians by far walking around so there was more room for bike riding. A benefit of riding in the area is that it is relatively flat for blocks and the view overlooking Pike’s Market is pretty with the Puget Sound in the background.

Here is part of my bus ride home from downtown Seattle today. I was noticing all the tents along the sidewalks that were probably the protesters who had been moved from CHOP and were not there before.

Stay Safe!

  1. Glad you are safe Suzanne. Has CHOP vacated the area? I know that there has been talk of the government coming in and removing them and restoring a law and Order. Let’s hope that happens very soon. Hope you had a pleasant fourth. Have a great day and God bless. 🙂

    1. HI Rick, I believe the CHOP area has had all the “protesters” removed but I saw them in a park nearby where I went to work on the way in on the bus. A few looked like they were dancing around and the rest were standing around in a large group. Their associated Twitter pages that I’ve seen indicate that they are not going to stop “protesting” but the police have taken the East Precinct back. I watched President Trump’s speech at Mount Rushmore and I thought it was quite moving and so good to hear the sanity of the things he said especially in these times of so much anarchy. I pray our country finds it way back and will put a stop to all this destruction but some Christians I listen to believe things will keep getting worse… Take care & God bless!

  2. I am glad law and order is returning. The Bible calls it the mystery of lawlessness or as some translation say the mystery of iniquity. If we read 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 God reveals that things will get worse and that there will be the man of lawlessness. If you notice the progressive humanists don’t seem to have a concept of morality or lawfulness. Everything they come up with, their ideology is so skewed and it is no great Wonder bateau’s who have faith in Christ

  3. …that those who have faith in Christ see their great error. I realize that the Antichrist has not come on and seen yet and we know at some point God will send the adversaries of the Gospel strong delusion that they should believe a lie. So according to 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 God’s judgement is coming on mankind. Yes it is all so heavy but we know that in the last days things will get worse but this does not change our blessed hope and that we will spend eternity with Jesus Christ. God will judge sin. Thank God that we have passed from death unto life to Jesus Christ Our Lord. As Corrie Ten Boom once said The Best is yet to come. 🙂

  4. Thank you for your uplifting comments! I look forward to Jesus lifting us up to him in the sky! It is really bad and unbelievable to see all this happening, yet we have been told what would happen. 2 Thessalonians holds great promise for us for we shall be raptured out of here! I hope it is soon.
