Hold fast to the light of the Lord

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. – John 8:44

Dear friends, I want to write today about the state of our world and culture and how the father of lies has created such confusion.

“… even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” – 2 Corinthians 11:14b

In these confusing times the good people who want peace in the world and who want to be inclusive, and follow these new, leftist cultural norms want to “feel good” about their acceptance of other people.

People who do not hold the social norms of bible believers who know that God created man and woman.

That God did not create trans-women and trans-men.

It’s sad to watch these people destroy themselves through their confusion. I do believe they are confused.

Not only does sin cause confusion but the father of lies causes confusion.

To what extent people’s confusion comes from their own sin I’m not sure – but when we abide by man’s cultural norms, we will walk down the path of confusion.

Hold fast to the Lord God Jesus Christ.

He is “the way and the truth and the life” and knows all things.

He is our creator and has the way for us.

He is our blessed hope for all time throughout eternity.

God bless you today my sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus.

Vitamins may help if you eat incorrectly but how many vitamins do we need?

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. – Psalms 28:7

Hello friends, I was looking for vitamins to buy online that were not capsules.

I already take capsules and they are too numerous sometimes, that I no longer want any more supplements.

My current vitamins recommend taking 4 – 6 capsules per day.

This is on top of taking one of Dr. Gundry’s Active Advantage capsules, and four Bio Completed 3 capsules.

So, being that I’m a customer of Dr. Gundry’s already I messaged his customer service person and chatted about his vitamins.

The answer I got back surprised me.

He doesn’t sell vitamins. Not vitamins per se.

Anyway what the customer service person chatted with me to take was; take his MCT Wellness powder. It increases ketone energy, increases ketone production, supports mental clarity, fights stress and anxiety, improves alertness and cognitive performance, and helps burn body fat.

I’m not sure I will order it.

I have some MCT oil already and many energy producing supplements in powder and liquid forms.

Have a blessed day!

A visit to the zoo

Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD. – Psalm 144:15

I went to the zoo yesterday. It was cold at 37 degrees and my face and fingertips were frozen.

I wanted to get my steps in and walk somewhere different.

However as I took photos and videos of the animals I couldn’t see in the camera lens to see what I was taking pictures of.

But the video came out okay. I really enjoyed the day.

Liver pack: I highly recommend

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Friends, I have worn a castor oil liver pack every night for the past eight nights.

For me, I believe the liver pack to be a good sleep aid where I sleep longer, deeper and get up in the night much less.

The graph shows my levels of sleep. It’s not perfectly accurate because my Fitbit thinks I’m asleep when I’m still awake, however the levels show there has been an improvement in my sleep.

The lowest bar in the middle was the last night I slept without the liver pack, the next bar is tall with a star on top. That was my first night wearing the liver pack. I got over eight hours of sleep according to the chart.

Again, I do have another sleep tracker called Sleep as Android that shows a little more information and has more graphs, but I usually don’t use that one if I’m wearing my Fitbit.

However my Fitbit chart is easily shared by taking a snippet on my desktop of the app.

Due to being an intermittent faster and often a time-restricted eater, I drink a lot of fluids during the day. This would cause my need to get up several times a night to take a bio break. It was so bad that I got up almost every hour, and it would take hours of my lying in bed before I went to sleep.

My quality of sleep was really bad. I was always tired and needing naps during the day. My naps would sometimes be up to two hours. Those naps caused me to sleep heavily and I would want to continue to stay in bed and continue to sleep.

My recommendation is definitely to try out a castor oil liver pack. I really benefitted from it.

Not only is my sleep improved, but I don’t need naps any more. I also am walking more, since I have more energy.

It’s not hyperbole. As a persistently sleep deprived person, I feel the improvement of the liver pack which detoxes the body.

It has other benefits you can search for.

I get no enrichment from recommending the castor oil liver pack. I believe it’s worth the investment of time and money and I saw immediate results with it.

If you’re curious which one I bought, I bought this one.

I also ordered their thyroid pack due to having been diagnosed as having low thyroid some years ago.

Have a blessed day!

Health strategy

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise. – Jeremiah 17:14

I’ve been a little more active lately regarding exercise.

I walked a few times around a city park with a duck lake in the middle. I also followed an aerobic video walking at home.

The next thing I did was look at some meal ideas using my macro counting book I bought recently to help look at food macros.

I would like to eat some small meals to keep my blood glucose and insulin at a more even keel to avoid spikes.

I’m also being active after eating meals rather than taking naps.

This entire change in strategy will hopefully help me look and feel better.

Spiritual matters cannot be diagnosed by medical doctors

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. – Romans 15:4

I have finally read the ending of the book, Demonic Foes: My Twenty-Five Years as a Psychiatrist Investigating Possessions, Diabolic Attacks, and the Paranormal, by Dr. Richard Gallagher.

Dr. Gallagher talked about how televangelists would become rich from victims of demonic activity. How fake healers and irresponsible ministers intentionally or ignorantly harmed others.

He described the ex-boyfriend of a women killing her during his rage against demons he said possessed her. This man was later determined to be suffering from paranoid delusions, possibly brought on by drugs.

He makes the important point that it is in error that many people believe that spiritual problems can be helped by the physical such as medicine.

You would not go to a medical General Practitioner if you are under spiritual attack. The medical doctor is not a practitioner of the spiritual.

Spiritual problems are best handled through trained believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who is God.

Yet the spiritual problems that can cause mental and physical problems can be taken care of in two ways: the spiritual can be helped by ministers of the Word of God, and the physical and mental problems can be treated medically.

A profound message for me in this book is that spiritual issues are real, and a trained mental health clinician who has knowledge of this can be a resource to rule-out mental illness in a person who presents as being demonically possessed or who is under spiritual attack.

A person might want to think about whether their mental health problem is truly about mental health, or if there is any possibility that they may be under spiritual attack.

Asking a psychiatrist or psychologist who has an open mind to assess them for mental health issues could help them talk about symptoms, and illicit professional support around any possible need for Christian intervention.

Dr. Gallagher should be recognized for his great contribution to the psychology of science, and that science won’t recognize the true realities of spiritual issues.

Christianity should be available so that people can openly talk about issues of the demonic and spiritual realities.

Stronger Christian messages of the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, what that means and why we need that might help people seek God for their deliverance.

Mankind’s sin and their eternal life also would be helpful for many to consider in their desiring to be free of evil spirits.

We could make these topics of mankind’s sin, deliverance from evil spirits and eternal life with God a major message for the public who have no knowledge of these issues.

Rather than shroud the truth of the bible due to any embarrassment, Christians should be speaking about the bible regularly.

Pastors should not cater to the world to tickle their ears but teach the truth from the entire bible.

Lumen: is it worth the money?

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

I’m up late tonight reading about Lumen and whether customers think it is worth the money.

The only real drawback I can see is that it is demanding; you use it five times per day and you must wait a few minutes to get your results.

I’m on the fence about buying Lumen. I took their personalized questionnaire online and watched the videos they provide.

Then I read several websites and customer reviews. It seems very time intensive and one website said it only works if you are committed to taking the time to use it properly.

As of this time I’m tipping toward experimenting with it. I might go ahead and order one. There is a 30-day return policy on it. I’m kinda thinking I need the extra help.

My goals are; more energy, lose weight, get fit, feel and look younger.

The fasting I’m doing doesn’t seem to be working. It worked before I did the carnivore diet where I gained weight.

Carnivore was so destructive and discouraging. I’ve written about it here.

I tried to get back to intermittent fasting like it did before carnivore. I was losing weight, had more energy, and felt better. I couldn’t get back to that space I was in.

So now I’m trying to undo the damage of carnivore.

I’m thinking I might buy the Lumen.

False memories and “satanic tales”

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. – Romans 12:12

I’m still reading Demonic Foes by Dr. Richard Gallagher.

On pages 211 – 219 is a story about a young man given the pseudonym “Raymond” that Dr. Gallagher saw as a patient.

Trigger warning: This blog post has some unsettling information.

Raymond was a young man who was brought in by his parents.

In recounting the situation, Dr. Gallagher explained how an untrained counselor that Raymond first received treatment from believed Raymond had suffered trauma after the counselor hypnotized Raymond.

Raymond claimed that during hypnosis, he remembered that during a church service, he wandered away and saw a pastor holding a baby in a ritual, and by slitting the baby’s throat, killed the baby.

This terrible “false memory” that Raymond believes he saw was witnessed as he looked through a door that was cracked open.

Reckless counseling that suggests a person’s problem, such as PTSD, because that is an issue the counselor is familiar with has a terrible consequence.

Dr. Gallagher distinguished the counselor’s “diagnosis” that brought up a false memory and inaccurate diagnosis with his professional diagnoses of personality disorder, mood disorder, panic attacks and occasional abuse of drugs and that Raymond had been overmedicated.

The difference in professional diagnosing and treatment from what an untrained, peer counselor who worked at the VA in support of trauma suffered by people who were in the military makes a vast difference when treating serious mental disorders.

Raymond shared this counseling experience with Dr. Gallagher, who took a long and thoughtful look at the experience with Raymond. He reviewed with Raymond what led up to this revelation of the suppressed memory.

Dr. Gallagher unemotionally and tactfully suggested that Raymond talk to his family about the memory to see what they thought, as well as to his counselor.

Other non-judgmental feedback by Dr. Gallagher that he said to Raymond was also part of the session.

Thankfully Raymond decided to speak to his family as well as confront his counselor to reveal he had reservations about the memory.

Hearing truth in empathetic ways, allowing space for a person seeking help and support to understand and then make their own choice can often help someone get through a disturbing mental challenge.

Dr. Gallagher’s recanting of this person’s false memory and ritualistic crime demonstrated how false memories and “satanic tales” were so often reported years ago.

Food preservation, safety. Trains derailing.

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. – 2 Thessalonians 3:3

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. – Psalm 46:1

I emailed a friend in Ohio yesterday who lives 40 miles east of East Palestine and asked her how she’s doing.

She did not mention smelling anything in the air – but it may be she did not want to worry me.

She said FEMA is going to be on site of the train derailment.

She also watched a video from a prepper site who suggests stocking up on canned goods rather than fresh. I could also add canning your own food to preserve food.

Although I live in a very liberal state (Washington), we could have an emergency here of some sort but at present I don’t have an inkling of what that emergency could be.

If you live near a train, or live in some out of the way agricultural area, you might start storing your pantries with food and water.

Maybe batteries, blankets and tarps. Safety is a prime need. Protect yourselves, it’s getting very weird out there.

In my area we have crime that has increased in nearby Seattle so that area residents know to avoid going there or at least avoid certain areas like down town.

The homeless population has increased in this area and the left woke mind virus is raging.

It’s a bad time in our history but we know why this is occurring. It’s in the bible.

Seek God and stay safe.

Liver pack update

Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you. – Exodus 23:25

Liver pack update: Last night was night three wearing the castor oil liver pack.

I’m checking in today because I wanted to share my results with others and have taken a short survey with the company online where I agreed to wear it for seven nights straight.

My first night wearing the liver pack with castor oil produced a heavy nights sleep of eight hours. I also want to note that the night before I had only gotten approximately three and one-half hours sleep.

Being chronically sleep deprived has been a life-long problem, so to get a good nights sleep where I slept so heavily was a great outcome.

The second night I wasn’t able to fall asleep until approximately 2:00 am, which is pretty normal for me. Sometimes I lay awake until 4:00 am before I am able to drop off to sleep.

After falling asleep at around 2:00 am I slept in late, so didn’t get up until approximately six and one-half hours later, at around 8:30 am. I later took a nap after dinner for approximately an hour.

I have to say that on the second night, even though I slept a split shift of sleep, my sleep was deep.

Sometime if I’m still awake at 4:00 am, I will get up out of bed and get on my computer in the living room to check my social media or the news.

Occasionally, about once a month I get absolutely no sleep at all.

Last night was my third night of wearing the living pack. My Fitbit sleep log shows I slept almost seven hours, a good space of time where I actually slept. I didn’t fall asleep until after 1:00 am again but this is good because I normally lie awake until after 2:00 am.

The liver pack seems to help me fall asleep approximately one hour earlier than usual. The quality of my sleep is deeper – I can tell when I wake up I feel like I’ve been in a deeper sleep.

So I think there are benefits to my wearing the castor oil liver pack in that I fall asleep a bit sooner and sleep more heavily.

We’ll see how it goes after my full week of wearing the liver pack. I look forward to continuing positive results.
