Audio About Following Pagans Trying To Make A Name For Themselves, Above Jesus

wp-image-980685902So I’m again speaking against those false prophets, which are deadly sin, in their words against God and who are trying to rise above the Lord Jesus Christ.  Beware!  They are leading you into sinful ways of life by following the doctrines of darkness.

Let me help you come away from those false prophets, and who speak falsely about God’s gifts.  Jesus performed miracles and he was the only one who was and is the son of God, who performed miracles, along with his Apostles and a few friends who were followers of God as a way to authenticate the beginning church.

They were being informed about how Jesus saved them from their sins and how they should stop practicing sin through the letters and sermons of Paul the Apostle.  The church of Corinth practiced pagan feeling states, and he warned against them.

This tape expounds my thinking about the pagans of today who are trying to perform the miraculous, and who are gaining a following in order to elevate themselves, and who turn their following away from the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is so much focus on the miraculous, speaking in tongues and the visions, dreams and magical thinking of paganism, the people following the flesh into sexual immorality, bizarre ideas about romanticizing Jesus, or other sexually immoral, bizarre, strange fleshly ideas of our Creator.

As they did when Jesus walked the earth people are seeking magical experiences and bizarre fleshly experiences, and are not focused upon the Words of the Lord.  As they did then, they still are doing today.

Here is my audio recording with my thoughts about this.

Beware, it is not so nice.

Following the flesh instead of God, Jesus Christ

Cessationists Hold The Correct View: Don’t Play With God’s Words

bible-1149924__340I think people are very aware of how troubling times are upon us which seem to get worse by the day.  Although I am a Trump supporter I believe as in biblical prophecy, through Trump, we may get a peace agreement in the Middle East sometime soon.  Possibly.  Only we know from biblical scholars that a peace treaty will be broken, and Israel will come under attack.  I’m hearing reports of how countries are lining up to fulfill the war of Ezekiel 38.

Prophetic words being proclaimed by people seeking dreams and other “words from God” can lead one’s biblical perspective to go everywhere beyond what the bible proclaims.  Prophetic words or dreams from God are what we should believe.  Continuationists are trying to link modern fallible prophetic words of today to biblical infallible prophecy.

This is a mistake, much like miracles they claim are taking place today – trying to link them somehow to the miracles of Jesus and his Apostles of the book of Acts.

Why aren’t there miraculous healings all over the place?  Do we see how people are healed in an instant where people can witness very obvious healings taking place, such as being suddenly able to walk and the blind suddenly being able to see?  Where are these miracles taking place?  In someone’s secret tent someplace while only the continuationists visibly see this?

Why aren’t there more people who aren’t believing in the miracles able to see these miraculous healings taking place?  Why is it so hidden?  Why are there few reports of these and none are taking place in a doctor’s office?  Can someone explain these healings?

Myself and many others are exposing these mistruths because people are being misled by claims of such miraculous healings.  Prophetic words that stretch the bible are not to be taken lightly, also, since adding to the bible gets the judgement from God.  I would not want to be in their shoes.  Any mistakes that a prophet makes would get you dead in an instant in the Old Testament; they had to be right 100% of the time.

Let’s not play games with God’s word.  Come out, do not believe in false information.  Give God the Glory, hallelujah!

The Word Of God Counters These Charismatic Gifts Of The Flesh With Spiritual Counterfeit Mixed In

Nathan Busenitz

I’m going to focus for awhile on why the Charismatic, 3rd wave, “Continuationists” are wrong, which may make some of you upset; but I think it’s a serious enough issue that a push back of truth is needed.

It seems like there’s a whole train of wrong thinking going on about the Apostolic gifts going on, that needs to be broken since many of those preachers have been steering new believers in the wrong direction, away from God and into the hands of satan.

Experiencing something spiritual does not mean it came from God.  Satan is the great deceiver and will take people as fools who do not rightly divide the Word of God.

that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10

Do you really think that satan does not also operate in the supernatural realm?  Do you think that every “spiritual experience” you have comes from God?  Please do not be foolish.  You leave yourself open to the experiences that satan wants you to have and you find yourself continually seeking those “experiences”, possibly because you think you are special, or have miraculous gifts seeking the flesh.

These are fleshly signs that people are seeking in the realm of the spiritual.  Why are you seeking them, instead of focusing on the Words of Jesus?

You might want to grow a following, because popularity is important to you.  You may think you have to stand out from the crowd and “be special”, because you don’t feel good enough without thinking you have something special that others do not have, not quite the same as yours.  You may feel you need to be the same as all the others taking the broad highway of speaking in tongues to feel validated as a Christian.  There are many reasons people say they possess “miraculous gifts” given the Apostles, and few others in that age.

Charismatic Counterfeits: Do the Modern Gifts Meet the Biblical Standard? (Nathan Busenitz)

Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.  For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. ~ 1 Cor 13:8-10

These gifts passed from the scene.  They did not return in 1901 at the outset of the Pentecostal movement as many claim (see video).  These experiences are not the same as what is described in the New Testament and we are not taught to use them or seek them; they are not in play in this age.

What were the gifts, from scripture that have ceased?  According to the video posted in this blog by Nathan Busenitz, the gifts of prophecy, of tongues and of healing are not being performed by continuationists, today.  Not how they were in the New Testament.

These “spiritual experiences” are a corrupted counterfeit, and not the true Apostolic gifts.

At 11:40 minutes in the video, pastor Busenitz begins to describe the true gift of prophecy, then he works his way from there.

It should be studied if you care about the bible and the True Word of God.

Employment Dreams Too Big To Believe To Help People Believe In Jesus Christ

It helps to clear my head and pay attention when I am in the presence of God, praying and speaking to Him and waiting expectantly for the Lord God’s guidance in answer to prayer. I need His guidance; there are so many questions I have at this time in my life. I believe I have had big changes in my life since becoming a true Christian; I gave notice and moved out of my apartment to live in my car; I was able to trade my car in for a large van; and my low-skill, low-paying job has not changed in almost two years. If I followed my heart’s desire I would want to create a media company that is for conservative Christians, paying writers and videographers, much like CBN but with a cessationist perspective which I believe is the true word of God.

Cessationism vs. continuationism divides Christians, so I believe a media company focusing on Christian views could be a vehicle to teach, and provide the bible in a way that continuationists will take another look at why cessationists believe the way they do. I also want to start a company where I can pay Christian friends to contribute to a much-needed Christian journalism company.

People need to hear the truth. As a former atheist and raised that way in my family, I did not hear what the bible was about. I heard the cliches and bumper sticker quotes from the bible from those who never read and understood anything in the bible; the arm-chair judges of Christianity. That is not where I learned the truth about God’s word and what being a Christian meant. I only knew that on occasion when I went to church with a friend, or with my grandmother a few times as a very young child, I felt afraid, confused and put off by it. I never heard anything that I could actually become interested in, that was loving, thoughtful and kind. It was more like a cold slap in the face if I did hear from Christians about their religion.

I know we have to tell the truth about heaven and hell, but I don’t believe that should be one of the first things you teach someone about God. First you tell them about Jesus who died on the cross for our sins, that we are sinful because from the beginning, mankind fell from God’s grace to sin, and that we need Jesus, Yeshua, who paid for our sins, so that we can be forgiven by the Father in heaven, Yahweh. We can be with the Lord at the end of our lives.

Romans 8:3 says,

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Learning who God is, that the Word was God and the Word became flesh is another important truth that I didn’t know and would have become confused by. It takes some time before a person is able to understand how unbelievers can spend eternity in eternal punishment called “hell”.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. – John 1:1

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. – John 1:14

A Christian oriented media company could be used to help the unbeliever understand Christianity better so there is some discussion or dialogue about what they’ve heard or read through the media company. They have more information to go on. It may be a source of comfort to them to finally know what God is about, since so many, such as myself, never had the guidance we needed to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. What a sad loss of year’s of one’s life to not know God, and His Son Jesus Christ. I am still learning, and being taught by his Holy Spirit when I read the bible.

To combat the sin that’s out there and getting worse every day, let’s solve the problem and go forward, showing the world what Christian life is about. We save lives, the souls of friends and strangers who want to learn about Jesus by sharing His Word in a kind way, helping them to understand, not flogging them over the head with news about flaming hell and brimstone. What message of hope is that? It is a twisted message by untrained messengers driving away people from Christ I believe. Giving them the message of hope of Jesus Christ can be taught in a loving way.

We all are sinners, we all have sinned. Let’s forgive and teach people the right way and God can do the rest.

Speaking In My Native Tongue: My Tongue Is American English

dove of peace

I’m reading about spiritualism from Africa, and I realize some of the things I learned while earning my doctorate degree in Psychology, shamanism, in particular, were of voodoo roots.  Then I became a Christian, and holy hell broke loose.  I learned something new; I am not a tongues-speaker, and I never will be.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. – John 14:26

This is scary to me considering how much money I spent earning my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, to starting my Ph.D. coursework, only to find God, then to find out that all of the teaching on Psychology was of worldly teaching, without God and would not heal people. Needless to say, I have maxed out my student loans and owe about $225,000 in student loans. I will not ever pay it back, no way. It’s above my pay level. I am looking for a job.

From what I am reading, several spiritual experiences of shamanism came from Africa, by a guy named Seymour, and I know the backlash I’m going to get from my friends who speak in tongues, and tell me I am of the devil, because I don’t believe them. I am not of the devil, and don’t speak in tongues. But that is not the reason for my blog post just yet. I am wanting to clear up a misconception, or a misunderstanding, of the devil in the kinds of spiritual worship that is out there calling itself Christian. I want to be counted as one that does not speak in tongues and is teachable, so that I can be friends with people who speak in tongues who I believe are sincere in their faith, but have just misread portions of the bible and who do not understand the founding father of their religious denomination.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. – Ephesians 6:12

It is William J. Seymour who founded the present day Pentecostalism, and I’m sure I have made several people angry, because I only have four readers at this point, and I humorously say that because it’s the truth. But all of you, except maybe for one, will not agree with me, here. I still think it’s funny because I know what kind of impact I will have on people, and that is none. None of my readers will care or they will tell me I am of the devil which I know I can handle because I’ve already been told I’m of the devil, or something along those lines by someone on Facebook who I care very much about and love like a sister, if that be possible.

Back to my story; I worked toward a Ph.D. and taught college, at the University of Phoenix, which I enjoyed very much. We were not allowed to let students out of class early but I wanted to keep teaching but I had to leave California at the time in kind of a hurry because I lost my house. I then had nowhere to live so I left the state of California. This was many years ago, around the time I finished my Master’s degree, in 1999.

I have more to say, I’m only getting started. My life is a cornucopia of trying to be good, tell the truth, follow the 12-step programs of which I was a member, (ACA, Al-Anon, debtors anonymous, and OA), and be “spiritual”, believing in a Higher Power Greater Than Myself. That’s all I knew about God, and the Lord’s Prayer.

Now, years later I can relate to the speaking in tongues people talk about and speak in. I went to church in Vacaville, California, where they spoke in tongues years ago, a rather large church where speaking in tongues was the norm. There was also an interpreter most of the time who would speak out in the congregation but I couldn’t hear him from where I sat so could not understand what he said. I think he spoke in English, my native tongue. It was not always the case though, when someone spoke in unintelligible tongues, that someone else acted as an interpreter. I guess God did not want people to understand what was said, in the gibber-tongues that had been spoken.

I am saying I am warning you; it is not fun to be under the control of one or more spirits, being slain in the spirit, speaking in tongues, or hearing spiritual voices. I have had more things happen to me than anyone I know, and I know that it was God that was treating me this way; NOT! No, He wouldn’t do that. I have since found God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, who has treated me with respect and guidance, never wearing me down, only finding me slain in spirit and helping me up.

He is a gracious God, willing to help anyone who reaches out for help to Him.

Cessationism And The Miracles Jesus Still Performs

detail-1434536_1920I guess what bothers me the most about the continuationists, is there misunderstanding, from what I’ve read, of what cessationism is.  They think the cessationists think that Jesus is done performing miracles and that no other people can get healed, and miraculously, that Jesus will perform.

Cessationists believe Jesus still can, and does, perform miracles as he wishes, any time of day or night.  He acts when he wants to provide those healing miracles.  All we do is ask, possibly keeping in prayer over long periods of time, or whatever the Spirit moves us to do.

We can’t control what Jesus will do out of the mercy of His heart.  He may have reasons for healing some but not others, and we can’t know all that until we meet him in heaven, is my belief, at least.  Unless, of course, something comes to mind to help explain to my human mind the reasons for which I still suffer from low-thyroid or otherwise am not as healthy as I would like.

Don’t think I haven’t prayed for my miraculous healing.  I have, over years of trying, and I still suffer the consequences of having low-thyroid hormonal function.  The only guidance I believe I’ve gotten in this respect are the many ways I can help relieve some of the fatigue, and general malaise of my failing thyroid condition.

My questions to some of you are, are we so big-headed that we have to act like Jesus?  Do we march around healing people, or do we seek God to provide for us, including the healing that we want?  What is wrong with praying to the miraculous God who created us, instead of going to a “middle man”, who lays hands on us, or says a prayer, maybe a formula prayer like they teach in those classes online, to heal someone?  I think it’s an abomination to think Jesus no longer heals.

He can do what He wants.

It is said by cessationalists that the bible, and I use the King James Version, is God’s final canonical work created for humans to read; a finished book given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ and which is sufficient for us to learn about Him from.  It is all that is needed.
