A lot has happened over this past week and I am staying on my Keto way of eating plan. It’s a very good way to feel more energy, lose a few inches and from what I’m reading, it has many great health benefits. Helping stop cancer growth has been one I’m very excited about, among others.
I will write more about health when I can.
Today I’m posting a video I created for my other blog about my Keto travels but I decided to post it here on this established blog. I had briefly considered living in my van but it was an exhausting idea, even with sleeping on a friend’s couch every night for the past week.
My YouTube video:
I have moved out of a friend’s house, understandably, due to her non-stop harassing emails to me at work, her temper and beer-drinking obsession. I didn’t have problems with her until a few weeks ago, then I felt I would have to move because she became more difficult to live with.
I posted this video that talks about my financial recovery, or plans thereof. I am moving to a lady’s house tomorrow night, and I look forward to unpacking my laptop and electronics, getting set up in my new home.
As I was pondering this blog post, wondering what to write, I came upon a few verses in Scripture about money. The first one is this;
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
Now some might suggest that God is saying that he prospers us only spiritually but I have thought otherwise.
If he wanted us poor we would suffer unnecessarily so why do we have to be poor Christians?
Are we more ready to give to our charities, helping others along the way, in this way blessing people? He talks about giving to others in Luke. It is a verse I like at lot because I want to help some friends one day, blessing them financially the way they have done me.
Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what is yours, do not demand it back. – Luke 6:30
The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. – Proverbs 21:5
Then there’s the story about the increasing talents, how the man rewards the servant who increases his wealth in Matthew 25:14-30. I’ll let you pull out your bibles and read that one.
I will write more on my finances in the future since I am planning on investing more.
