Be Alert and Love God

May you have the joy of the Lord in your hearts today during these strange times; remember he is Lord and Savior and truly cares about us.  He knows this is a strange time for us and let’s remember how many people may be seeking the Lord Jesus Christ in these times.

We know through the time that his people have been on earth as we are now that evil is lurking throughout the world and we must know Satan leads those who are not one of God’s making sin abound.  

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

Therefore put on these things and show one another love especially among believers.  As the Lord speaks to us through his Word he bolsters us to keep us strong.  We have his wonderful words to obey:

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other;as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.  And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.  And be thankful.  Let the word of Christ dwell in your rightly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word of deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. – Colossians 3:12- 17
